Meet Our Staff

Rachel (Owner/Operator)

Rachel has been in love with animals since she was a little girl. Throughout high school she worked at Layhill Animal Hospital with dreams of becoming a Veterinarian. She gave up that dream after fainting during a basic surgery and went off to college pursuing a career in Forensic Psychology. After working in the field for years, she gave up her career to follow her heart and start The Village Pet Au Pair, LLC. Rachel lives in Urbana, Maryland with her husband, their four children & beloved dog, Tigger.

Tracy (Dog Walker & Bully Breed Expert)

Tracy is a proud dog and cat owner. She adores animals & has worked diligently to train her dogs to be amazing companions! You might find Tracy working with her pitbulls in downtown Frederick on the patios of many restaurants. When she isn't with her dogs she is likely on a crazy long bike ride with her husband or running after her darling grandchildren. Tracy is a proud mother of four children & resides with her husband in Frederick, Md.

Krisi (Dog Walker)

Krisi is a lover of all animals! She is absolutely fearless & experienced with all breeds, both large and small. Kris LOVES walking & has been known to spend extra time with her animal friends :) When you can't find Kris spoiling her clients, be sure to check the softball field or the gym! She is a dedicated coach & personal trainer. Krisi lives in Urbana with her husband, two children and two adorable dogs!
